This beautiful self catering apartment which sleeps up to 6 people is set in the picture postcard town of Montalto delle Marche. Set in the historic centre of town in a 16th century townhouse with a 13th century lookout tower attached the apartment is set over two floors and is approximately 100 square metres.
Montalto lies half way down Italy roughly parallel to Rome on the Adriatic side. The apartment is set between the Adriatic coast in on direction and the wonderfully mountainous Sibillini National Park so is in the perfect location for exploring central Italy.
The apartment has a large terrace with great views of typical rolling countryside and is perfect for dining al fresco.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin and in one of the two lounges there is a double sofabed.
There is an extremely well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, Smeg hob and oven and fridge freezer. The kitchen is set in the lookout tower so gives great views of the mountains in the distance and fields of pears, peaches and vineyards just outside the town.
The town is well serviced with shops, restaurants and cafe bars and on a Wednesday morning there is a local market selling a wide variety of fresh Italian produce.
It is very easy to get to the region of Le Marche as Ryanair fly daily from London Stansted to Ancona or Pescara which are both just over an hour away.
