The lodge is also fantastic for summer holidays with the stunning Tara canyon a 30 minute drive away. Walking, mountain biking, fishing, climbing and swimming in the beautiful setting of the Black Lake.
Set in the spectacular Durmitor National Park, at an altitiude of 1,465 metres, Zabljak is the highest settlement in the Balkans. Durmitor National Park contains 48 peaks over 2,000m and 27 over 2,200m. It is also home to the Tara Canyon, the largest in Europe and second only to the Grand Canyon. At points it's sides tower over 1,300 sheer metres. There are also caves, lakes, springs and over 2,000km of trails, hikes and climbs.
