The area around Start Apart offers a fantastic variety of activities and spectacular sightseeing opportunities, all set in magnificent countryside.
The main town of Hisaronu is a ten minute stroll from the apartments. It has a wide range of lively shops, bars and restaurants. The local market is every Monday, with bargains in leather goods, spices, textiles and clothes. You can eat a different type of meal every day in Hisaronu, such is the variety of restaurants that crowd the main street and the bars and clubs all add to the fun of a lively evening atmosphere, giving you summer nights to remember.
A ten minute ride in a dolmus (local mini bus) will take you to Oludeniz, which features the beautiful blue lagoon, set at the end of a long beach of golden sand. There is a stunning backdrop of mountains that provide the perfect launch pad for paragliding down to the beach below. The small town alongside the beach provides a variety of restaurants and bars, creating a wonderful atmosphere for those sun worshippers that can tear themselves away from the edge of a warm clear blue sea.
A fifteen minute ride in a dolmus in the other direction will take you to Fethiye, the largest town in the area, a busy, bustling main port and yet still very much an ancient town with cobbled streets and a wide range of fantastic restaurants.
An important part of any holiday is the facilities that are provided with the accommodation and the residents and holidaymakers at Start Apart will have no complaints.
Guests can relax and enjoy themselves day and night in the pool, restaurant and bar that fully complement the excellent accommodation.
Start Apart residents enjoy unlimited use of the super 18 metre pool and accompanying children’s’ pool, set in the one and a half acres of fully landscaped gardens. Soaking up the Turkish sunshine on one of the many free sun loungers around the pool, interrupted only by the occasional wandering to the adjacent restaurant and bar.
In the evening, the restaurant provides a selection of English and Turkish dishes that will suit everyone, from egg and chips to Kofte, delicious Turkish meatballs that can be barbecued or served in a sauce. Alongside the dining area in the restaurant there is also a pool table and dart board!
Each newly refurbished apartment has a large double bed in the bedroom and sofa bed in the lounge, comfortably sleeping a total of four adults per apartment. Double glazed, air conditioned and with a kitchenette area for self catering, the apartments also have a private bathroom with shower and toilet with traditional English plumbing. Individual security boxes for each apartment are provided in the general office at reception. Ground floor apartments have access to their own terrace and garden area, whilst each first and second floor apartment has two (and sometimes three) separate balconies that enable the occupants to relax outside and enjoy the stunning scenery that’s all around.
These fantastic self catering apartments allow you to have whatever type of holiday you need, whether you are after the local nightlife, or simply want to relax and soak up the scenery and copius sunshine! If it’s a more active style of holiday you’re looking for, then there are local jeep safari’s, quad and mountain biking and horse riding into the surrounding mountain trails, paragliding, parascending, windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving and boat excursions to the amazing coves and bays that can only be reached from the sea.
