Adding My holiday rental Web Page to Holiday Notice Board. In order to have a page on our site we need to have six photos of your holiday rental, ideally internal and external views. One or two of these photos are sometimes of the general area eg. a nice shot of the beach. In addition you need to write a short description about your holiday home. The text, photos and other details are uploaded to your web page using our
Special Property Details Entry Wizard. Our pages divide the description into three sections but these are guidelines rather than a rigid divide. 1) Describe your poperty and mention the main selling points. Try to include details which are not elsewhere in the advertising information. 2) Describe the outside features of the property, its views, pool, garden, patio, location and distance from airports / rail / road links and the amenities of the site or urbanisation. 3) Describe the local town or resort, Talk about What's on entertainment wise Day's Out, Theme Parks and Sporting facilities. Include the names of Golf Clubs or places to visit. In order to help you do this look at other pages on our site. You should not of course copy other peoples descriptions but you will get a idea of what is required. Put ideally 6 but 4 will do initially jpg images on the hard disc of your computer in a folder you can find easily. Our Wizard will tell you when to upload them. 6)We will adjust the photos so that that they are the correct size for the page so do not worry too much about getting the exact size, however photos with a very large file size greater than 200kb will not upload. If the image is too small the quality will not be good on the page. Generally speaking photos with a jpg file size of 50kb to 150kb will work well. |
If you do not have a digital camera the images may be scanned from prints. You can either do this yourself or simply post the photos to me and I will scan them for you at no extra charge. We do not undertake to return photos sent for scanning. Once your details have been received we will contact you with a link to your property web page which you can then check. We will work with you to make changes or additions which may be necessary. The pages are template based which means that photo sizes and text blocks are the same size on each page. Excess text will be edited by us so do not worry if you send a little more than required by the Wizard.
