Kalkan also has Hand-painted ceramics, stylish fashions and locally made to measure suits and shirts. Visit Fethiye and neighbouring Kas which has a good selection of unusual shops in quaint back streets close to the harbour. Kalkan water sports include snorkeling, scuba diving, water-skiing, jet ski and pedalo. Alternatively a boat trip to visit “Snake” or “Mouse”, islands out in the bay. Although Kalkan beach is small and pebbled, the breathtaking sandy beach of Kaputasa is within easy reach. Visit Patara beach for 18 kilometres of sands.
