SARASOTA

Timberwoods resort is a premier holiday village with a large heated pool and jacuzzi, tennis courts, basketball net, shuffle board, picnic areas with barabaque. There is a beautiful lake set in the middle with water features, fountains, and wildlife in abundance. The site has a reception with tourist information, internet access, pool table, ping pong, small library, and meeting point. Disney is 90 mins drive, and Busch Gardens is a 40 min drive. There are direct flights from the UK to Tampa airtport and that is 40 mins from this location. It is a brilliant holiday spot for winding down after Disney or as a base for discovering the Gulf Coast and all the fantastic sea towns up and down the coast, such as Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Clearwater, St Petes, and Venice. The nearest beach is Siesta Key (6 mins drive)which has pure white sand and crystal clear water. This is a safe location for families with childrena and also couples who want a romantic get away.
